Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will mark its 90th birthday with a concert which will be held at the National Theatre on 18 January.
On the concert program, which begins a year-round marking of the ninth decade of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1923 , will be the ninth symphony “From the New World” by A. Dvořák, and another concert for piano and orchestra by S. Rachmaninoff.
The concert will be conducted by Slovenian conductor Uroš Lajovic, and a Russian pianist will perform as well.
