The Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta, informed the public via social networks that the last new tram, out of the previously announced 15, has arrived in Sarajevo.

“From December to July – 15 times a great job was done. The trams were welcomed at the tollbooths at the entrance to Sarajevo, unloading was done even in rain, storms and heat. Each arrival of the tram brought a new challenge with it. All have been resolved,” Šteta wrote.

He added that new trams are running in the city and that all 15 will be on the tracks next month.

“Congratulations to all of us and thanks to every person who was part of this story. These trams were bought with the money of all the citizens of our canton, may they last for a long time and may the ride be pleasant. We are ready for next year and new deliveries”, he said.

Let us remind you that the tram track in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been renovated from the Technical School to Ilidža. Renovation is expected in the Center and the Old Town.
