The “Feast of Mimosas” festival, a story from Herceg Novi that has been going on for 55 years, was presented on Wednesday also in Baščaršija.

Citizens of Sarajevo, guests and tourists had the opportunity to learn about the mimosa festival, and the rich program that begins on February 15 was presented by representatives of tourist organizations and the delegation of the City of Herceg Novi.

The tapestry of the 55th Mimosa Festival, as the vice president of Herceg Novi Municipality Mirko Mustur said, is woven from a series of cultural, entertainment, sports and gastronomic events, workshops for children, so there is something for everyone.

“We came to invite the people of Sarajevo to come to the sea and to open the “Mimosa Festival” on February 15 with music, majorettes, rich programs for children,” he said.

The feast of mimosas, fish and wine begins with a parade led by majorettes and city music. In addition, there will be a mimosa harvest on the Riviera, as well as a famous masquerade ball.

Today in Baščaršija, numerous Sarajevo residents, tourists and guests enjoyed music and majorettes who showed their skills, and everyone had the opportunity to receive a bouquet of fragrant mimosa, Fena news agency writes.
