DzepoviPuniKamenja-750x500In early July, Sarajevo War Theatre will participate at the ITSelF Festival in Warsaw with their play ‘Pockets Full of Stone’ starring Adi Hrustemović and Igor Skvarica. The play will be shown in Warsaw due to cooperation of the International Theatre Festival MESS with the aforementioned festival of Warsaw.

The play is a tragic comedy about two extras, Jack and Charley that meet on a big Hollywood production film that is being filmed in a small village in Ireland.

”Pockets full of stones” is a comedy in which two actors play the role of 14 male and 14 female characters and where they masterfully transform from one character to another. The audience does not even know, whether it’s the same character when they begin another scene. This play was well received in Sarajevo, Belgrade and Prizren.

The International Theatre Schools Festival ITSelF is a theatre biennial, organized by The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Warsaw, Poland. The Festival is supported by the Capital City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Since its first edition, it is organized under The Honorary Patronage of The President of the Republic of Poland.

The main objective of ITSelF Festival is to promote theatre culture and young talents of the stage, share experiences, bring cultures closer by gathering artists together, as well as to present Poland as a country which supports culture and appreciates its influence on the development of the society.
