Food industry “Sava Semberija” exported 4000 tons of finished products to the markets of the region but also to Germany, the USA and Canada.

The management of this factory is satisfied with the results of business and cooperation with subcontractors in the previous year, but it’s not satisfied with the available quantity of farm products.

”Domestic farm products are scarce. In 2012 it was only 45%”, said the manager of ”Sava Semberija” Jagoda Krsmanović.

She said that it is necessary to organize agricultural production in Semberija as soon as possible, and it is critical to obtain raw materials from the local area.

Food industry “Sava Semberija” imported the raw material primarily from Serbia and Macedonia, and in 2013 they plan to import from some European countries.

Manager of the company has announced that in 2013 the company will invest in the new machines and increase the production, and more information about that will be known in February and March after they summarize the signed contracts with subcontractors, but also with customers, and contracts concerning the raw material and packaging.
