Scandinavian Airlines delayed start of Copenhagen-Sarajevo air route

Scandinavian Airlines delayed start of Copenhagen-Sarajevo air route connecting Copenhagen with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) capital Sarajevo due to low demand, local media reported Sunday.

Copenhagen-Sarajevo air route originally planned to connect these capital cities twice a week starting of March 24 this year, but the Scandinavian Airlines management decided to reduce the flights to one per week. The launch of the first flight was delayed until June 26 this year.

According to the current flight schedule, Scandinavian Airlines will transport passengers in seven flights from June 26 to August 8, company’official website says.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is a flag carrier of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, eight largest airline in Europe operating 182 aircraft to 90 destinations worldwide. The company’s main hub is Copenhagen Airport, connecting to over 50 destinations in Europe.
