Amel Tuka Rio klix.baAfter the New Year’s humanitarian activities in BiH and training in Zenica and Sarajevo, Amel Tuka, Bosnian best athlete, continues his preparatory cycle in Italy and Portugal.

Best BH athlete and one of the best runners on 800 meters in the world, went through the new test to doping control, conducted by the World Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). This is the thirteenth time in less than a year that Tuka went through doping control.

Every day I have two training sessions, and everything is going according to plan and without major problems – said Tuka.

Currently, all his plans are focused on the implementation of the program of the coaching staff and will stay in Portugal until 25th January. After that, the entire team will move to Italy, where they will have 400 meters test race on January 28th in Padua.

-Depending on the circumstances, I will probably perform at a rally in Dusseldorf which is to be held on 1st February, and after that, I will have a short break which I will spend with my family in BiH.

The races with which I want to get into the best shape will be the performance on February 18th in Birminghen and the Balkan Championship from 25th-26th February – said Tuka.
