SDS stopped the Boycott of Pre-election Elections for the President of the RS

Deputy President of SDS Želimir Nešković said that the instruction to the Central Electoral Commission (CIK), which enabled SDS and other parties that have candidates for the presidency of the RS to have one member per 136 polling places in the early elections, represents the minimum conditions for participation for this party.

He also pointed out that the creation of many difficult conditions for the prevention of election fraud in repeated elections will attempt to legalize election fraud.

“So, the royal water is similar to the previous elections, and even the decision to steal from the Central Election Commission is legalized by the practical creation of many difficult conditions. The upcoming elections on February 8th are still more difficult than the conditions that we had on November 23rd because now we can’t even accredit observers,” said Nešković.

However, today’s instruction to the CIK also adds to the “minimum” for participation, which will enable them to have at least one member of the electoral board in the name of SDS at all polling places.

In this case, the CIK rejected the requests of the SDS for the accreditation of new observers on behalf of the SDS and all political subjects participating in the elections, as well as the request for technical changes, that is, the activation of the election law when technical changes are required, including the use of scanners, biometric control of voter identification, and the use of finger spray.

CIK did not accept the request of the SDS to re-use the right to call voters by name and surname in order to prevent identity theft, which was the most common type of theft in previous elections, Klix.ba writes.
