Late last night, searches were completed at the Faculty of Dentistry, Economics, Mechanical Engineering and the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs, and the operation codenamed “Envelope” was continued.
Certain documentation was seized, as well as the phones of the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in Sarajevo and the Chief Inspector for Higher Education at the Cantonal Inspectorate for Higher Education.
Searches continue today at several locations. In addition to illegal employment, searches are also being conducted on suspicion of controversial payment of incentives to employees of the Cantonal Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth, co-financing of certain works or projects, and appointments to working groups.
The premises of the aforementioned ministry are being searched, as well as the Cantonal Government, the expert service for joint affairs, and the University of Sarajevo in order to document the appointment of Muhamed Ajanović as dean.
