The Board of Directors of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) today dismissed the general director of the KCUS, Sebija Izetbegović, and appointed Doctor Alen Pilav as the acting general director of this health care institution, the Avaz portal reports.

At the session held on October 30, the Board of Directors made a decision to initiate the procedure for the dismissal of the general director of KCUS before the end of her mandate because, as stated, she no longer meets the requirements for the director.

Izetbegović, reminds Avaz, was left without academic titles, master’s and doctorate degrees by UNSA’s decision. He is no longer a lecturer in the capacity of a professor at the Faculty of Medicine.

On the other hand, she claims that the decision to appoint the KCUS Board of Directors and the request for her dismissal are illegal. He claims that he does not have the consent of the Minister of Health of the Federation. She announced a lawsuit and an administrative dispute before the competent court.
