FOOTBALL/FRENCH CHAMP/RENNES v GRENOBLEAfter the defeat by Belgium with a result of 3:1, the selector of the football national team of B&H Mehmed Bazdarevic said that B&H had an exceptionally good team as an opponent, which deserved to win.

“At this moment, Belgium is better than us. We had to play a lot better. Belgium had more ball possession in the first part, and we quickly used the balls that we could have taken advantage of differently. At one certain moment we had to receive those goals. I am sorry that we didn’t manage to tie in the moments when we could have. Belgium has used all of its phases of the game”, Bazdarevic said.

With the third defeat in the qualifications, the team of B&H practically said goodbye to the fight for the first two positions which directly lead to the performance at the European Championships, and what remained is only a theoretical chance to find a way to reach EURO through playing in the barrage, by winning the third place in the group.

With eight points, the BH national team took the penultimate, 5th position in the Group B, after the leading Wales with 17, Belgium with 14, Israel with 12 and Cyprus with 9 points.

Three more meetings in the qualifications have remained for the football players of B&H. the first is to be played in three days against Andorra in Zenica, they are hosting Wales in Zenica on October 10th, while in the last match on October 13th they are to be guests in Nicosia, against Cyprus.
