Senad Softic as the new Governor of the Central Bank of B&H

Senad Softic vecernji.baThe newly appointed Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBB&H) has elected Dr. Senad Softic for the Governor of the CBB&H for a mandate period of six years.

Senad Softic was elected at the session of the Governing Board of the CBB&H which was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2015, at which the newly appointed members of the Governing Board Senad Softic, Kemal Kozaric, Ankica Kolobaric, Ljubisa Vladusic and Trivo Marinkovic officially assumed office.

Softic replaced Kemal Kozaric at the position of the Governor of the CBB&H, whose mandate expired on August 11th 2015.

The newly appointed governor, who is also the Chairman of the Governing Board of the CBB&H, is a doctor of economic sciences employed at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo as an associate professor. At the same time, he is the head of the Master studies at the Faculty of Economics Sarajevo and the Faculty of Economics Zagreb, the Department of Crisis Management.
