The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide continues to publish brochures related to the legacy of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), and in this connection to the prosecution of war criminals in BiH and the region, delays, obstructions and blockades in the implementation of the so-called state Revised strategies. The new brochure is entitled “Serbia and Croatia in the international armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

“Also, bearing in mind the constant big-state attacks of Serbia and Croatia on the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have the right and obligation to remind the domestic and international public what the ICTY, a court established by the UN Security Council, found, that is, how Serbia and Croatia were involved in international conflict and were a kind of attackers on the statehood and territorial integrity of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to give the young generations the opportunity and chance to get to know each other and learn about the contents of the judgments of the ICTY,” according to the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide.

Judgments of the ICTY have international validity, are part of the legal heritage of modern humanity and an integral part of the UN legislation, and as such are a permanent source of law, truth and international order.

“We also invite international representatives who deal with political solutions in and around BiH to, not only remember, what a court that was established unanimously by the UN Security Council concluded in connection with the “conflict” in BiH, but that in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement agreement and other international mechanisms that bind them, they use the conclusions of this court, which was established due to a global threat to peace, as stated by the UNSC in its resolution establishing the ICTY. For the purposes of these brochures, we named the proof of the international conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with Article 2 of the Statute of the ICTY Aggression,” adds the Association.

The brochure consists of two separate parts. One part refers to legally established facts about the role of the FRY/Serbia, and the other about legally established facts about the role of the Republic of Croatia.

This brochure, as well as the previous brochures “Progress or obstructions in the prosecution of war crimes” and “Sarajevo 30 years without an indictment,” should provide additional support to all competent institutions in BiH, headed by the HJPC, international organizations, to finally remove the obstructions and blockages in the work of the so-called Revised strategies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The brochure can be found on the website tortura.ba as well as on the Association’s Facebook page, announced the Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses.
