goranSerbian Minister of Justice Nikola Selakovic signed a decision on extradition of Goran Suvara to BiH, as reported from the Ministry of Justice.

Minister’s approval for extradition was preceded by a decision of the High Court in Novi Sad that all requirements are satisfied.

According to Srna, the extradition of Suvara to BiH is expected shortly.

Suvara is in extradition custody in Novi Sad since April 7, after he was arrested on the basis of Interpol arrest warrant from Sarajevo.

BiH initially had a deadline of 18 days to submit the request for extradition of Suvara, but on the 25th of April requested and received an extension of the deadline to 40 days from the day of arrest.

Suvara was indicted for 5 offenses in the RS, and he was convicted of illegal production and trade of weapons or explosive materials.

The District Court in Banja Luka issued an international and central warrant for Suvara on the 14th of May 2015.
