Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic pointed out yesterday in Belgrade during a conversation with the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Christian Schmidt, that Serbia respects the territorial integrity of our country and is open to the development of good neighborly relations, which includes cooperation, as she said, with the central and entity authorities.

As announced by the Government of Serbia, during the meeting between Prime Minister Brnabic and High Representative Schmidt, the importance of joint projects in the region was discussed, as well as the discovery of ways to speed up their implementation.

Building bridges

According to Brnabic, Serbia also offers many opportunities, especially to young people, for the development of their potential, invests in modern technologies, but is also open to building bridges with BiH at all levels.

Moreover, Brnabic said that she is looking forward to cooperation with the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

High Representative Schmidt agreed with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic that the stability of the region and its economic development is extremely important and that he sees Belgrade as a sincere collaborator and partner.

Security threat

The Serbian Prime Minister also said that the recent public release of a note from the Embassy of Serbia in BiH with personal and confidential information was unacceptable and contrary to diplomatic practice, which led, as she said, to jeopardizing the safety of the protected person.

Schmidt believes that such a practice is unacceptable and added that in accordance with the decision of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council, he informed the diplomatic representatives in BiH about it.
