Serge Brammertz to arrive in the Official Visit to Sarajevo

Chief Prosecutor of the Hague Mechanism, Serge Brammertz, will pay an official visit to Sarajevo in the period from May 22 to 24, as part of preparations for a regular report to the UN Security Council.

Brammertz will attend a meeting with the Prosecutor General of BiH Gordana Tadic and discuss cases of war crimes in BiH, according to the issued statement.

He will also talk to officials responsible for missing people, representatives of security services and international partners for conversations on the topic of search for missing persons, as stated by The Hague.

Brammertz will also attend meetings with members of the local civil society with the aim to discuss their efforts to promote reconciliation in the territory of BiH and the region. The Prosecutor will meet with members of the diplomatic community as well.

It is expected that Brammertz will present his report to the UN Security Council at the beginning of the month of June, as stated in the statement.
