‘Sevdah za Karima’ before the member of the EU Parliament in Brussels

BiH film ‘Sevdah za Karima’ (Sevdah for Karim) by Jasmin Duraković will be shown tomorrow, 5 March in the building of the European Parliament in Brussels at the special projection for members of the parliament and other guests, reports FENA.

The host of the projection is Tanja Fajon, the member of the European Parliament and member of EU Delegation for Relations with BIH. Author of the film Jasmin Duraković and director of photography Šahin Šišić will attend the screening of the film.

‘Sevdah za Karima’ (2010), after ‘Nafaka’ (2006), is the second film of BiH director Jasmin Duraković.

Its world premiere was on the 16th Sarajevo Film Festival, and since it was shown in other festivals.

It received the European Capital of Culture Award Pecs for 2010.

This exciting love story, with elements of social and political drama, talks about the group of BiH deminers who prepare themselves to go to Iraq to search for better life. Film tackles many issues of the new generations and present-day BiH who survive in the times of terror after 11 September.

The cast of the film : Amar Selimović , Adnan Hasković , Marija Karan, Mirvad Kurić, Semir Krivić, Sedžida Šetić, Haris Burina, Edhem Husić, Muharem Osmić, Armin Ćatić, Ivana Petrović, Turkish-German actress Asli Bayram and others.

Director of Photography is Šahin Šišić, designer is Maja Cerić, costume Belma Žiško, make-up artistist Vesna Trogrančić, music Branko Jakubović, montage Midhat Mujkić, tone designer Samir Fočo.

Film producer is Angelina Albijanić-Duraković, director of production Mirsad Ćatić, co-producers Tivoli from Hungary and ARTdeLuxe from Austria, while the main producer is DEPO film house from Sarajevo.

General sponsor was Raiffesen Bank, said Depo production.
