The Mayor of Sarajevo, Predrag Puharić, said that everything is ready for the start of the New Year’s celebration, which will ensure Sarajevo a high place on the regional scale when it comes to public events, and one of the most famous singers in the region, Severina Vučković, who will usher Sarajevo into the year 2025, promised ultimate fun.

“It will be a wonderful New Year, I’m sure of it. My family and friends came, and if no one else comes, there are my 30 who will magnify this event,” Severina said today at the press conference.

On this occasion, she expressed her great satisfaction with the upcoming celebration and wished everyone a successful New Year, emphasizing how happy she is to be performing in Sarajevo.

“I am looking forward to Sarajevo, it is like Split to me, my city. Performing for the New Year is special, because there is nothing more beautiful than rejoicing with people and sharing joy. I feel like at home,” she said.

Speaking about the year behind her, Severina said that 2024 was exciting and full of challenges.

“It was a year in which I learned many lessons. At the beginning of the year, I had the Supreme Court, so I passed that too. There were also many positive things, such as the campaign for the ‘right to abortion’, the campaign for transgender people, and I was also the face of Croatia,” she said, adding that the most important lesson she learned is that you should always move forward.

Tonight, DJ Topic, After Affair and Sara Jo are performing in front of Vječna vatra. The citizens of Sarajevo and numerous tourists will welcome the year 2025 with Severina and Adi Šoše at the same location, Federalna writes.
