Graffiti with a morbid message threatening Bosniaks with slaughter was removed after police conducted an investigation.

This information was confirmed by the President of the Assembly of the City of Prijedor, Mirsad Duratovic.

“Immediately after the investigation carried out by members of the Prijedor Police Administration, the city’s communal services started cleaning the wall of the City Stadium. The graffiti was completely removed,” Duratovic told.

To recall, yesterday morning a graffiti appeared on the wall of the City Stadium in Prijedor with a morbid message: “A young balija (a derogatory term for Bosnian Muslims) runs the field, I catch up and cut his throat.”

The police characterized this event as a crime of inciting national, racial, and religious hatred. They are still looking for a  perpetrator.
