ministarThe FB&H Prime Minister for Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Sanjin Halimović and mayors of 16 municipalities from the FB&H will sign incentive agreements on finacing local governments to establish and build enterprise zones on Monday, 20 January in Sarajevo.

This will apply to the following municipalities: Stolac, Gračanica, Gradačac, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Novi Travnik, Posušje, Tešanj, Kiseljak, Tuzla, Bosanski Petrovac, Ravno, Tomislavgrad, Orašje, Grude, Doboj Jug and Ilijaš.

In order to create the preconditions for the development of small and medium businesses and creating new jobs in the FB&H, 14,3 million BAM have been allocated in the last nine years for the construction of 60 enterprise zones in FB&H municipalities, and this year a total of 1,5 million BAM is expected to be invested for this purpose.

Of the total allocated incentives for entrepreneurial infrastructure, more than 90 percent of these funds until now were intended for enterprise zones, which further animated municipal structures to initiate or accelerate activities in constructing enterprise zones.
