Since the beginning of the Pandemic, 55,430 Persons have been reported to be infected with Coronavirus in Sarajevo

Another 106 people tested positive for coronavirus were registered in Sarajevo Canton, out of 946 processed tests. Two infected people died, the Sarajevo Canton Government said.

For comparison, yesterday in the Sarajevo Canton, 138 people who were positive for coronavirus were registered, out of 952 processed tests. One death was reported.

In the last 24 hours, 87 people recovered. 159 patients are in hospital, 126 of whom, as they stated, have an acute infection, while the rest are postcovid or are under observation.
99 patients are treated at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), and 60 at the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas”. As they pointed out, no patient is connected to a respirator, six use non-invasive ventilation, while 13 use oxygen support breathing above 15 liters per minute.

There are 885 active cases in Sarajevo Canton, while 2,047 people are currently in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 55,430 people have been reported to be infected with the coronavirus and 53,223 have been cured.

According to the data of the Cantonal Institute of Public Health, in the past seven days the average number of infected is 121, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of infected per 100,000 inhabitants, is 202.
