SIPA arrested One Person according to the Interpol Warrant

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person today in the area of Banja Luka according to an international Interpol warrant.

The international warrant was issued by NCB Interpol Zagreb with the aim of arresting and extraditing the mentioned person to the Republic of Croatia. A person deprived of liberty is wanted by Interpol Zagreb for the purpose of criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of “illegal entry, movement or stay in the territory of the Republic of Croatia”.

On the basis of operational knowledge, police officers of SIPA, operational team “Fast”, located the mentioned person in the area of Banja Luka, after which the person was deprived of his liberty and taken to SIPA’s premises.

A person deprived of liberty will be handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal term.
