Slovenian Business People On A Visit to BiH

A delegation of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce composed of representatives of 20 companies and led by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Samo Hribar Milić began their two-day visit to BiH today.

Today the delegation of Slovenian business people are in Sarajevo and will meet with members of the Slovenian Business Club in BiH, and tomorrow business people in the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber (VTK BiH) will meet with representatives of BiH companies.

Representatives of the two Chambers of Commerce will sign an agreement on cooperation. The document provides for mutual business cooperation with a focus on joint European projects to strengthen export opportunities of the BiH economy and a joint appearance in third markets.

Slovenian business people will visit Vitez and Zenica, where there will be a meeting on business events, which is called ‘’business café’’.

The total value of Slovenian investments to BiH is 612,6 million Euros, making BiH in third place of the most important Slovenian direct investments. Otherwise, Slovenia is the fourth biggest investor in BiH, behind Austria, Serbia and Croatia.

He noted that in this year and in the period up to 2015, the largest scope of investments in the hydro power plant has been planned and added investments will amount to 123,6 million KM.
