On Saturday afternoon, snow began to fall on several mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is expected today to fall in the greater part of BiH.

The rain that began to fall on Jahorina and Igman Mountain yesterday transformed into the snow in the afternoon.

Currently, a very strong wind is blowing on Bjelasnica Olympic Mountain, and the snow is expected in the evening.

According to the forecasts of the hydro-meteorological institutes, snow is expected in tomorrow morning in the in Krajina, Posavina and in the northeast of Bosnia, and in Herzegovina, mainly rain.

The cloudy weather with snow is expected next week, and the heavy rainfall could hit the southwest of Bosnia, according to the forecasts of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.

Almost all of BH Mountains are ready to welcome this year’s ski season with extended capacity and new facilities. For snow and skiing enthusiasts, it is only a matter of waiting until the mountain areas in BiH go white.

Already with the first snowflakes that have fallen on the mountains in our country today, artificial snow cannons have started to work, which means that the ski season will begin earlier this year.
