SNSD President Milorad Dodik said, after signing the agreement on coalition cooperation with DNS, that he was satisfied with the fact that DNS in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has been in the background of the policies of the current government and that cooperation with this party will continue in the benefit of RS.

Dodik told journalists in Banja Luka that work with DNS will continue on harmonizing mutual policies and cooperation.

He added that SNSD and DNS have long-term successful cooperation, and that they remain united on the political plan of preserving and strengthening the RS.

“Our agreement refers to common policies at the level of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as positioning in accordance with the election results,” said Dodik, after he signed an agreement with DNS leader Nenad Nešić on mutual coalition cooperation between the two parties.

He added that this agreement will determine cooperation for local and general elections.

Nešić said that the DNS is aware of the need for Serbian unity and that it will defend the constitutional position of the Republika Srpska.

“There will be no negotiations regarding the property of Srpska. That is a red line for us. We support Dodik because he is not only defending himself but Srpska, and the process against him is a process against the president who represents the unity of the Serbian people,” said Nešić.
