sparkHR conference Inspire & Innovate was successfully held yesterday at SPARK. The main goal of this event was to inspire and encourage all present directors of companies and HR managers to new and innovative HR practices.

After a short SPARK presentation, Vildana Mandalović and Samra Dedić (MarketMakers) presented results of research and study “Gender Equality in the IT Sector”. After them, Ivana Perković and Ana Sović talked about innovative HR practices already implemented in SPARK group – from way of hiring new employees, flexible working hours and team-building activities, to learning by model, retention of employees, daily surprises and bonuses, health care and the like. This was followed by two panel discussions on the topics “Successful Women in the IT Sector” and “Innovations in HR Policies and Practices in the IT Sector”. These were the panel discussion participants: Azra Sarić (Mistral Technologies), Alisa Bašić (Infobip), Ana Sović (NSoft), Ajla Karajko (Networks), Ivan Rozić (NSoft), Ivana Perković (NSoft), Nemanja Nikolić (ManPower Group), Merana Sadiković Mandžukić (EMC) and Ljubica Skoko (Degordian). The event ended with networking.

But this conference is just one of the activities of the project Market Makers, supported by the Swiss Government and implemented by a consortium Kolektiv d.o.o. (Posao.ba) and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation. We announce the making of HR guide, and more events like forum and hackathon.
