SPARK Gadget Show officially most visited Event

spark-gadget-show-106Although we expect more visitors than at other events, SPARK Gadget Show is officially most visited SPARK event so far. Premises of newly opened SPARK caffe and parking lots were just too small for so many visitors.

The biggest attraction of the show was definitely electric car Rimac – Concept One, next to which the visitors constantly took photographs. Unfortunately, it was not available for driving, but four Tesla models S and X were constantly on the road. Electric bikes Greyp, electric scooter INMotion L6, hoverboards Xplorer Hoverboard Funk and Ninebot Hoverboard were always on the move in SPARK’s backyard.

The attention of children was mostly attracted by cute little robot NAO, but also by educational robots Lego Mindstorms and mBot. Devices for smart homes (Google Home, Eynio Click, VSoundBox and Amazon Tap) and virtual reality gadgets (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Microsoft HoloLens) were presented inside of SPARK caffe premises. Drones DJI Mavic, DJI M100 Matrice, DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Phantom 3 were taking off from the roof the whole day and constantly “monitoring” the whole event.

Finally, there was a prize contest. The task was to vote for the best exhibited gadget and briefly describe the innovative way in which to use it. NAO had most of your votes as the best gadget, while the best innovative idea (of a total of 96 contest participants) had Esad Inajetović! Idea is to use NAO to help children who have problems with socialization. The winner can collect their prize at SPARK premises, every day from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m.

We believe that year 2017 will give us some new cool gadgets and we’ll make sure to exhibit those at SPARK Gadget Show 2017.
