Special Session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to be held on Monday

A special session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, whose appointment was requested by the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, will be held on Monday.

The RS National Assembly states that the request for holding the session was submitted by Dodik, who declared five decisions adopted at the 25th regular session of the Presidency of BiH, held on March 31, very harmful to the vital interests of RS. He called on the deputies to hold a session within 10 days and support this proclamation by a two-thirds majority.

The proposed agenda envisages that the deputies declare that Dodik’s decision is harmful to the vital interests of RS, decisions adopted without consensus at the session of the Presidency of BiH held on March 31. These are the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Election Commission of BiH and the Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in BiH (OSCE BiH), as well as the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Central Election Commission. BiH and the State Election Office of Hungary.

In addition, it is the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Agreement on BiH’s participation in international research on computer and information literacy ICILS 2023, the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Agreement on BiH’s participation in international research on learning and teaching TALIS 2024 and the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Agreement on BiH’s participation. international research of trends in knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences TIMSS 2023.
