Administration of the company Steelmin BH Ltd. Jajce reached a decision on terminating the overhaul of the plant and launching full production in autumn this year, despite of all the unsolved trial issues, stated the Council of employees and board of the discharged workers.
“What this decision means for present and future employees does not necessarily have to be described, but we really must express gratitude to the investors for everything that they have done and invested so far and, of course, primarily on their readiness to successfully terminate this project, despite everything,” it was stated.
The company Steelmin BH Ltd. Jajce was founded in 2011 after the privatization of one part of the plant which used to belong to the industrial giant “Elektrobosna”.
Ever since, this company has been on trial because they do not have access to their own property, given that the land which surrounds the production plants is in private ownership.
