Stevandic’s Declaration on the Closure of OHR voted in NARS

The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted today the Declaration on the closure of the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (OHR) at the proposal of the President of the Entity Parliament, Nenad Stevandić.

During the voting on approved points in the continuation of the 19th regular session of the NSRS, 60 deputies were present in the hall, out of a total of 83, and 57 deputies voted for the declaration. Three did not vote.

Decisions were adopted on the credit debt of the RS with the Saudi Development Fund for projects for the construction and accommodation of students in Foča in the amount of 13 million US dollars and for the construction of the Science and Technology Park of the RS in Banja Luka in the amount of 19 million US dollars.

The deputies adopted the MUPRS work report for 2025, the work report and financial report of the Republika Srpska Concessions Commission in the same year, and the annual report on the results of the activities of the Human Rights Ombudsman Institution of BiH in the last year.

Also, the information of the NSRS Audit Committee from the thematic session on the performance audit report “Prevention of peer violence in the RS, information on the obligations arising for BiH and the RS from the process of joining the European Union with an overview of measures and activities implemented during 2025 and information on decisions on pardons in 2025 was adopted.

The NSRS also voted on the decision to draw up a Spatial Plan for the Special Purpose National Park “Sutjeska”.
