Stojanovic: There is no Solution without some kind of Agreement

The newly appointed Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Stojanović, believes that “the new Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be formed without the Party of Democratic Action”.

“I can’t tell you anything precisely. It is clear to everyone that the second vice-president of the Federation of BiH, Refik Lendo, will not give his consent. This will obstruct the majority, and I think that is not fair, and I will continue to insist on that democratic coalition, which is a simple majority. I hope that we will reach a solution and get a new government after eight years of Fadil Novalić’s government,” Stojanović said after he was appointed one of the two vice-presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at a session of the House of Representatives today.

Legally, for the formation of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is necessary to obtain the consent of the President and Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“There is no solution without some kind of agreement, except perhaps for Lendo to recognize the democratic majority. At the moment, there is no other legal solution,” said Stojanović.
