STOKE may be forced to sell £15million-rated keeper Asmir Begović if they are relegated, reports The Sun.
Boss Tony Pulis insists he was under no pressure to let the Bosnian star, 25, go when he snapped up Jack Butland from Birmingham in January.
But the Potters have been in freefall ever since and are battling to avoid going down to the Championship.
And relegation will put the Potters under pressure to cash in on the former Portsmouth No 1.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all interested in Begović.
Stoke will suffer a £40m shortfall if they fall out of the top flight and miss out on next season’s TV cash bonanza.
So selling the keeper would help cushion the blow to their finances.
Pulis already thinks Begović has what it takes to be one of the best in the Premier League.
And Stoke are ready to save a further £7.5m a year because big earners Jermaine Pennant, Matthew Upson and the retiring Michael Owen are all out of contract in the summer.
