Heavy rainfall and stormy weather in the north of Italy surprised the inhabitants of the Treviso province.
Due to flood, two BiH citizens, a 40-year-old man and 12-year-old boy, were stuck on the island on the Piava River, at the territory of the Motta di Livenza Municipality.
Rescuers were unable to approach them by land so they asked for help of a helicopter.
Firefighters also participated in the rescuing operation. They descended from the helicopter to the two Bosnians and evacuated them.
