Strengthen Policy Framework for Renewable Energy

In Brussels today the international parliamentary forum on renewable energy on the topic “International Cooperation for Energy Revolution” took place. It demonstrated the importance of strengthening the policy framework for the use of renewable energy, and creating the environment for the adoption of legislative framework in the area.

It was concluded that state parliaments and multilateral agencies should provide additional investments in this sector.

The final day of the conference included a presentation of energy challenges of today, and there was a debate on the role of international agencies in attracting private investments in energy projects, which was attended by representatives of organizations for economic cooperation and development, the World Bank and environmental agencies.

The first deputy chairman Mirza Kušljugić and members of the commission for transportation and communication of the House of Representatives Anto Domazet, Zijad Jagodić, Borislav Bojić and Šemsudin Mehmedović, and members of the commission for trade policy, customs, transport and communication of the House of Peoples Nermina Kapetanović, represented the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
