Strengthening Institutions and Security Policy a State Priority

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović met with a delegation of the Association of Generals of BiH, consisting of President Rizvo Pleh, Member of the Board of Directors Džemal Merdan, Secretary Sadik Klinić, and members of the Association Mustafa Polutak, Sulejman Vranj, and Sakib Forić.

Representatives of the Association thanked Bećirović for his continuous work on strengthening state institutions and protecting the constitutional order, as well as for the diplomatic activities that contribute to a stronger strategic positioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international scene, his Cabinet announced.

Bećirović emphasized the important role of the Association of Generals of BiH in affirming a democratic society, preserving human rights and freedoms, and promoting the historical and cultural values ​​of the state. He also emphasized that the professional contribution of military experts has great weight in shaping a modern and stable security policy, because experience from the defense sector represents a key resource in building long-term stability.

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on current political and security challenges in BiH, with a special focus on strengthening state institutions. All participants emphasized the importance of continuing to promote peace, freedom, democracy, and the rule of law.

Bećirović thanked the delegation of the Association of Generals of BiH for their engagement and contribution to the state so far, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, consultations, and open dialogue on key state and social issues.
