Even though BH handball team was defeated by the Czech Republic in the 2nd qualifying round of the European Championship in 2020 with a score of 25:20, a strong applause was given by the audience in Tuzla Mejdan Hall.
To recall, both teams played well tying at 1-1 in the 2nd minute after which the visiting team continued the lead and in 22ndminute, visiting team lead 10-7. One minute later, BiH head coach Bilal Suman called a time-out after which the visiting team took a 12-10 lead before the break.
Both teams played defensively during the beginning of the second half, after which the visiting team scored 3 goals and Suman called a time-out again at 15-11. The rest of the second half was a splendid show by the visiting team to take a 25-20.
