Romania was hit by an earthquake measuring four degrees on the Richter scale today, the European Mediterranean Seismological Institute announced.
The earthquake was registered in the afternoon at a depth of 136 kilometers.
According to EMSZ data, it was registered 52 kilometers northwest of the city of Buzau, which is located in the east of the country.
For now, there are no reports of casualties and possible material damage.
