[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Exhibition of the best student works in the field of interior and design was officially opened yesterday at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo, and Eco Company awarded the best students with cash prizes.
The best works of student in the form of drawings, models and prototypes were presented, which were manufactured by the Eco Company from Sarajevo for a several years, and the company Solidwood Gradacac got involved in manufacturing this year as well.
“Through manufacturing of 15 prototypes in our company, these young people had the opportunity to get introduced with the whole production process, to gain practical experience and competencies that are required during the process of employment. Our company needs quality architects and interior designers, and this way we are trying to motivate and help young people to focus towards the interior. We will continue with the cooperation next year as well,” said Suad Eco, Director of Eco Company.
Asmir Voljevica, the student who won the first prize for the school year 2013/2014, told us that this is a good example for all faculties how they should work: “This is an important step in my education and career. I got the opportunity to participate in the whole process, from the first sketches, conceptual design, development in the technical department of Eco Company to the realization of the prototype.”
