Following an exceptionally successful winter ski season, Bjelašnica Olympic Center announces the start of the summer tourist season, which officially begins on Saturday.

As the summer season begins, activities aimed at positioning Bjelašnica as a year-round tourist destination continue. This summer season attracts families, recreationalists, nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, and active holiday lovers.

“During the summer months, the visitors will have at their disposal a rich and diverse program, including sports, adrenaline, engaging, and promotional activities, as well as numerous events and family days dedicated to all generations, from the youngest to the oldest,” the organizer said.

The working hours of summer activities will be from 10:00 to 18:00 every day, and the ticket prices start at 10 BAM.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the now-traditional panoramic six-chairlift ride to the top of Bjelašnica, a children’s park, tubing tracks, trampolines, various children’s activities, as well as maintained walking trails and hiking routes connecting Bjelašnica and Igman, including the Babin Do – Bjelašnica summit and Babin Do – Javorov Do routes. Sports fields designed for outdoor recreation and leisure will also be available, along with a bike park.

“We invite all citizens of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as domestic and foreign tourists, to spend their summer on Bjelašnica, enjoying the fresh mountain air, natural beauty, and activities tailored to all ages,” emphasized the Bjelašnica Olympic Center.
