Tomorrow is the summer solstice, which represents the longest day of the year and marks the beginning of summer, although judging by the weather, summer has arrived a long time ago.

Then the Sun’s rays fall at a right angle on the northern reflector and at the greatest angle on the northern hemisphere. The day lasts much longer than the night, tomorrow the day will last as long as 15 hours and 35 minutes.

Summer will begin at 4:59 p.m., and at the same time, winter will begin for the inhabitants of the southern hemisphere.

The long day and the position of the sun also influence the solar radiation to be stronger, so the UV index will be very high these days.

The first day of summer is considered the day of the summer solstice (longest day), which usually falls between June 20 and 23. As the Earth rotates around the Sun, but also around its axis, its position at a certain moment in relation to the Sun defines the seasons.

This year, the autumnal equinox (equinox) is on September 23, which means that this is when summer ends and autumn begins.
