The project ‘In the New Year I Wish’ is a street action in the form of a survey that will be held today at 12:00 in 35 cities and municipalities in B&H, on city squares, in youth centers and local communities.
The project is implemented by IPS Initiative, which is made up of more than 20 organizations from B&H. The aim of the project is to define the wishes of young people in B&H, and the actors are passersby, particularly young people.
In every central squares in cities in B&H, volunteers will set up an information desk with a box, stopping passersby and asking them to write what they wish for the New Year in one sentence and to place the paper in a box, and with this, a picture will be formed on the specter of wishes of young people in B&H.
The purpose of the project is to later, through an analysis of the wishes, to define the concepts/wishes that were mostly written down, and to forward them to state institutions, entity governments and local governments.
