oricIn the simplified procedure, the Swiss Federal Office of Justice approved the extradition of Naser Orić to B&H.

After the Ministry of Justice of B&H sent a request for the extradition of Naser Orić to our country yesterday in the late afternoon to the Federal Office of Justice of Switzerland (FOJ), this judicial institution, after obtaining the hearing for Orić who agreed to be extradited to our country, decided to immediately approve the extradition throughout a simplified procedure.

“This decision is possible due to the fact that the FOJ applied the criteria of the European Convention on Extradition, so that the priority was given to the request of B&H. Decisive factor for the decision regarding this was the fact that the acts that Orić is charged for, were committed on the territory of B&H, whose citizen is Orić,” as announced from the Swiss Federal Office of Justice.
