After last year’s dog attack on wallaby kangaroo, the Public Utility Company ”Park” Sarajevo has made a plan to protect the entire riverbed of Koševo creek, which, during the summer months has a very low level of water and that allows dogs to enter.

The plan is to build the protective fence along the banks so that the dogs could not enter. The project still needs to be approved by the competent Ministry of Sarajevo Canton.

Manager of Pionirska dolina Esad Tajić said that during the summer months, the number of guard that will protect the only Sarajevo zoo will increase.
