[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Over a thousand visitors of all generations visited yesterday the National Museum in Sarajevo on the occasion of 128th birthday of this significant cultural and scientific institutions.
All employees of the Museum were available to the audience whole day at different presentations and collections tours.
One of the central events was the opening of the exclusive exhibition About Kora, Kuros, about people and deities, where an exceptionally valuable collection of decorative objects from the period of Ancient Greece and Rome was presented.
The crown of the day was the presenting of the original of Sarajevo Haggaddah, (usually kept in the depot of the National Museum).
The Museum has not yet evaded the serious legal and financial problems which emerged after several years of carelessness by the authorities. However, according to the Minister for Civil Affairs of B&H Adil Osmanović, it is being worked on solving the problems systematically and permanently.
