Tarcin Forest Resort – MGallery by Sofitel Sarajevo received the prestigious award for the best new hotel in 2017 at the largest regional fair of investment projects, the REXPO, which was held in Zagreb from November 30, to December 1, 2017.
Rexpo is an international fair that has been gathering investors for years and it represents the best investment projects from the entire region. So far, the fair attracted more than 6,000 business actors from more than 50 countries and it enabled around 250 companies to present their work and more than 500 projects.
The fair was closed with the awarding ceremony of the “REXPO Best New Hotel Award 2017”. In a strong competition that included the hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik and the hotel Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico from Rovinj as finalists, the award went to the recently opened Tarcin Forest Resort & Spa – MGallery by Sofitel Sarajevo.
The award was given on the basis of grading by 20 experts from the hotel industry and it was handed over by the President of the Association of Hotel Owners at the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the President of the Association of Employers at the Hotel Owners of Croatia Ronald Korotaj. Ante Maric received the award on behalf of Tarcin Forest Resort.
Besides the fact that the hotel and its villas can be compared with the most luxurious Alpine resorts, the construction was realized in accordance with the latest standards of sustainability and environmental protection, and that definitely contributed to receiving the award for the best new hotel in 2017.
