New York off-Broadway public positively reviewed the new play directed by director of BiH descent Tea Alagić. The play was based on the text of Nobel award winner Elfrieda Jelinek called ‘Jackie’.

The play talks about the life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, which was first shown in direction of Alagić.

The play is being played in Theatre ‘City Centre Stage’ as a part of Women’s Project, whose main aim is the production of plays written and directed by women. Critics praised Jackie and New York Times wrote three articles about it.

Tea was born in Mostar and now she lives and works in New York, and teaches at Yale University.

She graduated at the Charles University Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and she finished her master studies at Yale.

In New York alone she directed around 15 plays and in other cities 15 as well.
