Gradačac – organized by the Cook chefs Association of B&H, the restaurant “Aut” Gradačac, “Brunch” Gradačac, MSŠ “Hasan Kikić”, radio Gradačac and “Tapas” Zenica, on occasion of the International Chef’s day, on Friday September 26th, the 3rd ““Gastro Country in the Background” Festival will be held in Gradačac.
“This event’s goal is to promote traditional gastronomic values of B&H” – said in his statement for Fena Hamid Kurjaković, the leader of the project. He added that hospitality management schools, hotels, restaurants and media houses will be preparing “Begova čorba” (“Bey’s soup”) in a pot in the competition part of the program.
“The chefs from the Chefs Association of B&H will evaluate all competitors and declare the winners. The organizer ensured valuable prizes for the best soups.” – said Kurjaković.
The sponsors of the event are the Municipality of Gradačac, the Tourist community of the Municipality of Tuzla, the Ministry of tourism, traffic and trade of the Municipality of Tuzla and the Ministry of environment and tourism of the FB&H.
The media sponsor of this year’s event is the Federal News Agency FENA.
