A team of Bosnian mathematicians won five medals at the Balkan Olympiad in mathematics, which was held in Greece, from 3rd to 8th of May.
Bosnia and Herzegovina representatives in Athens were students: Zlatko Salko Lagumdžija, Milica Djukic, Tijana Babić, Adis Bolić, Demir Papić and Nikica Perić. They won one silver and four bronze medals. The leaders of B&H team were Jelena Radović and Francis Sarčević.
The Olympiad was attended by several hundred mathematicians from 21 countries from all over the world, and some of them are Ireland, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
