Officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in two separate actions, seized 230 kilograms of tobacco worth 36,000 BAM.
Acting in accordance with the instructions of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, tobacco was discovered by members of the Tuzla Regional Center for prevention of Trafficking, in a passenger motor vehicle, owned by T.P.
“After the raid, 150 kg of cut tobacco without excise stamps was found,” was explained in the statement of UIO BiH.
In the area of Zivinice, 80 kg of tobacco was found, which was not accurately marked by excise stamps.
A report will be filed against the perpetrator, and on the existence of a grounded suspicion that the criminal offense of Illegal Traffic of Excise Goods.
