The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, talked with the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, about the future of the enlargement of the European Union (EU) and the commitment of the BiH institutions to the European path.
In a telephone conversation with Merkel on the eve of the Berlin summit on July 5 in Berlin, Tegeltija thanked Germany for its continued support for BiH's European integration, and welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that the Berlin summit would be another confirmation of the region's commitment to the EU enlargement process, as well as the accession of the Western Balkan countries to the EU.
In the conversation, Tegeltija pointed out the commitment of the institutions in BiH to the European path, connection and improvement of regional cooperation, which, as he said, showed its importance during the coronarvirus pandemic, the Council of Ministers announced.
Tegeltija and Merkel expressed satisfaction with the current bilateral relations between Germany and BiH, and pointed out the possibilities of further improvement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
